Simple, honest websites for local businesses. No jargon, no surprises.
I'm a local web designer based in Wofford Heights, serving businesses and organizations throughout the Kern River Valley – from Lake Isabella and Kernville to Ridgecrest and beyond. I've built websites for local historical societies, artists, guides, and small businesses right here in our community.
I started doing this work because I saw too many good local businesses either stuck with an outdated site they couldn't update, paying too much for something they didn't need, or relying entirely on Facebook as their only online presence. There's a better way – and it doesn't have to be complicated or expensive.
How I Work
- Your content comes first: I build around what you do and what you want to say – not the other way around. No cookie-cutter templates where your business has to fit the mold.
- Simple, easy navigation: Your visitors should be able to find what they're looking for in a couple of clicks. I keep things clean and straightforward.
- Works on any device: Your website will look right on phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops – important when most local searches happen on a mobile phone.
- Words that do the job: Clear, plain language that tells your visitors who you are, what you do, and how to reach you. Copywriting help is available if you need it.
Why work with me?
- I'm local: I live and work here in the Kern River Valley. You're not dealing with an anonymous online service – you're working with a neighbor who wants to see your business succeed.
- I keep it simple: I don't upsell you on things you don't need. If a three-page site does the job, that's what I'll recommend.
- You stay in control: It's your website and your content. I build it, maintain it when you need me, and make sure you're never held hostage to a platform you don't own.
- Easy to reach: You can call or email me directly. No support tickets, no call centers – just a straight answer from the person who built your site.
